An Inn stood on the site of the "auld triangle" for over 300 years. the beautiful stonework reflects the high quality stone buildings that dominate Macroom (particularly the remains of the castle). Today "the auld triangle", (a mere stone throw away from the town centre) prides itself on serving excellent food in the homely and welcome setting: "Dan's Bar" and "Nights" restaurant, offers the hungry traveller a selection of hearty and wholesome meals.
To the busy worker his/her Dinner in the middle of the day if he/she so wishes or in the evening, a selection of table d'hote and a la carte menus, to enjoy in the relaxed surroundings, with open fires and by warm and friendly staff.
Every occasion is catered for Be it Birthday, Christenings, Weddings, Communions, Confirmations, Engagements, Anniversaries and Meetings. All are welcome and all given an individual and caring treatment, while the staff work hard to ensure that every occation is one to remember.
