Welcome back to the golden days of Cork entertainment when good old-fashioned humour along with classic music were the order of the day. Well, this is what you’re going to get! Headlining the nights will be the wonderful Cork Tenor Terry McCarthy and comedian Frank Twomey, who will have you splitting with laughter.
Special guests on the night are the Donal Ring Céilí Band, who are now 60 years in the business. Wow! What an achievement. I’m sure Donal Ring Jnr and Terry Mac will do a few songs on the night. Be sure not to miss out on some of Cork’s finest talent!

Annmarie O'Riordan hails from the wonderfully picturesque Barony of Duhallow in County Cork. As a seven-year-old Annmarie joined the Millstreet branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóiri Éireann and competed in Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Scór and similar competitions winning both provincial and national titles. While she enjoyed participating in the various cultural competitions her heartfelt desire to sing just for the love of singing led her away from competitions focusing more on exploring the songs she enjoyed most and loved to share these with appreciative listeners.
Annmarie's wonderfully distinctive singing voice has become superbly recognisable not only at national level here in Ireland but increasingly on a much wider international scale.
Lee Valley Enterprise Board are delighted to welcome Annmarie to the stage on Friday 5th October at 8.30pm at the Riverside Park Hotel, Macroom. Be sure to come along for a great night guaranteed!

Lee Valley Enterprise Board are delighted to welcome musical duo Jim Murray & Seamus Begley back to the Riverside Park Hotel, Macroom on Friday 9th November. Macroom's own Jim Murray is one of Ireland’s finest guitarists and his formidable reputation has been established as a player of traditional music - both as a melody player and as an accompanist. Over the last decade, Jim has combined a wide range of music and influences to create a unique and exciting modern sound in guitar accompaniment bringing it to the ‘now’. Jim plays regularly as a member of Sharon Shannon’s band and has also recorded with Frankie Gavin, Mike McGoldrick, Altan, Mary Black and many other traditional musicians.
Accordion player and singer Séamus Begley is one of the most popular Irish traditional musicians, coming as he does from one of the most musically acclaimed Irish families. He plays with an energy that is alarming, bringing a frisky spontaneity to his box-playing, belting out jigs, slides and polkas with rapid sprays of reckless ornamentation before making a sudden key change into a bitter-sweet air, sung or played on the accordion. He has toured extensively with Jim Murray, Altan, Steve Cooney and Mary Black to name but a few.
